Pottery painting parties are so easy to organise. Start with covering your table with a plastic table cover. Set out some paint palettes, brushes, acrylic paints and also water pots. Its a good idea to have some kitchen roll handy to dry the brushes when changing colours. Use a variety of paint brush sizes where necessary, need a sharp brush tip for eyes. Using sponges for painting can give a good coverage and a nice effect, however you can paint with more detail using brushes.
Give the kids a disposable apron to cover their party clothes. Roll up those sleeves and let the little artists get to work! Pottery painting is so easy and fun!
