PARTY
Make
their dream come true, a party in a magical enchanted
land! Little
one's just love to dress up! And this is the occasion
to do it. |

Create
a sparkly Invitation fit for royalty requesting the pleasure
of all your friends to your Royal Party. Ask them to dress
up in their beautiful dresses or royal suits and robes. You could get
very creative with your invites - make in the shape of a
princess slipper or roll up into a scroll, add your royal
seal and tie with
ribbon. |

Decorate
your party room with streamers, balloons and lots of twinkly lights (dig
out your Christmas lights). Turn their chairs at the
dining table into mini thrones by adding some ribbons and
cushions. Lay your table fit for a royal feast, table
covers with co-ordinating plates, napkins and cups (mini plastic wine glasses would be
great as goblets). Sprinkle some sparkly confetti
all over the table. Small posies of pretty flowers on the table
for a finishing touch. |

Make it fun but easy - you don't
want to be in the kitchen all morning baking for the
party. Some fun ideas - cucumber sandwiches, cream
cheese sandwiches cut into star shapes, chicken legs,
grapes, strawberries dipped in white chocolate, pink and white
marsh mellows, butterfly cakes. Drinks with a cherry in or
a strawberry on the side.

Your
guests will arrive all beautifully dressed and ready to
party but will they be wearing their crowns? How
about getting creative and let them make their own
crowns adding some sparkling jewels, feathers, pom poms,
shiny shapes,
stickers etc. The kids will have loads of fun designing
their own crown! Click on the crown photo for

Crown craft ideas.

Another great craft party
idea for a Princess theme party is to paint and decorate a Jewellery
Chest. KidzCraft offer an authentic paper mache
chest which can be painted with fabulous acrylic paint
colours and then decorated with jewels, ribbons and fun
stickers. Hide some children's
jewellery and goodies around the party room for the kids to find and
fill their new Chests with.

PAINT
YOUR OWN DRAGON
We have a wonderful Dave the Dragon just waiting to be
brought alive with paint. What colour will your dragon
be? Little Princes will have a creative time painting
their own dragon pottery piece.

A M E S Pass
The Frog (pass the parcel
with a top cover made to look like a frog). Wrap a
prize up with lots and lots of layers of paper. Make
the top layer look like a frog (green crepe paper, draw on
big eyes). Sit all the children in a big circle and
start the music. Pass the frog round and when the
music stops, the child holding the frog takes a layer off,
put a little treat in each layer for the children to find on
the way to the main prize. Treasure
Hunt for Jewels - as
mentioned above, hide some jewellery, precious rocks,
chocolate coins etc for the children to find. Great
idea to fill their own party bags! Piñata
- becoming a favourite at kids parties - Bash the Piñata.
There are loads of shapes to choose from to suit the theme
of your party. Pin
the Eye on the Dragon (a
themed version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey) Draw a dragon
on a huge piece of paper, paint it and hang
on a wall. Cut out lots of small circles from
cardboard (one for each child) cover with paper and draw a dragon
eye on them. Write their names on the back.
Place a small piece of blue tack on the back of each eye
before the party. How to play - cover the child's eyes
with a scarf around the head, twist her/him round 3 times
and then point them in the direction of the dragon so they
can place their eye on him. Closest eye to where it
should be is the winner!
