Ghostly
Lanterns Craft Idea
Instructions to make your
own Halloween Ghostly Lanterns:
Collect empty jam
jars. Wash and dry. Paint them with white acrylic
paint. Allow to dry. Draw and paint scary black eyes and
mouth, or bats or a spider on the outside of the jar. When
the paint is dry, place a tealight inside and your lantern is
ready for Halloween!

Party Food Idea
Dead Fingers
Using a piping bag, squeeze some
shortbread dough onto a baking tray in the shape of a finger.
Make some lines for knuckles and wrinkles with the back of
a knife. Add an almond for the fingernail. Add a little
red icing to give a creepy bloody finger. |
Hocus
Pocus Food
Bones
Using white sliced bread,
spread with jam. Cut off all the crusts. Roll the
bread up. You now have some bones with blood coming
out. Kids will love 'em! |

Witches
Cauldron Toss
Decorate a large black bucket to look like
a wicked witches cauldron with bats and frogs hanging from the
sides etc! Object of the game is to toss sweets into the
cauldron to make the witches brew. Hand out a selection of
sweets to all the children and one by one let them toss into the
pot. A spooky prize for the winner and they get to eat the
sweets they get in! |

Party Game Idea
Pumpkin Goo
Hollow out a large pumpkin. Make up
several watery jellies and pour into the pumpkin. Throw in
some horrible bits like intestines (cooked noodles), eyeballs (marshmallows),
bones (twiglets), worms (sweets), jelly spiders etc etc.
Give it a good stir. Place on a table top so the kids
can't see inside, but so they can reach in with their hand for a
feel around. Ask them to write down what they think is
inside. |
Have
spooky fun at Halloween! |
